DYER CARTRIDGE BOX

DESCRIPTION:

Gen. Alexander Dyer¡¯s (Chief of Ordnance, 1864-74) cartridge box filled the requirements for a cartridge box that would allow for quick and easy access to the .45 cal. revolver cartridge used in the Colt S.A. revolvers during the last quarter of the 19th century. The boxes have fleece lining to protect the loose ammo from knocking about. Original Dyer boxes are now extremely rare, expensive and fragile. Our replica is a absolute dead ringer in all respects. Brown or Black leather with U.S. embossing, Brass mounted hardware. Works well with all pistol calibers.
